Load Monitor that Detects Dry Running, Blockages and Overloads

The Emotron M20 shaft power monitor protects pumps, fans, conveyors, mixers and other motor-driven equipment from damage and downtime. It measures the motor’s shaft power and detects both underload and overload, so it can catch a pump running dry, a closed valve, a broken belt or a jammed conveyor early.

Because it uses the motor itself as the sensor, it needs no external sensors or extra cabling, which keeps installation cost low and maintenance at zero. Its shaft power calculation gives reliable supervision across the whole load range, with high accuracy even for small load changes. The auto set button calculates four protection set points (warning and stop levels for underload and overload) automatically during normal running.
