General Purpose DC Motors

CG is an established name synonymous with rotating machines. Our manufacturing unit located at Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), India, manufactures DC motors up to 1500 kW.

DC Motors from CG feature state-of-the-art LAMINATED YOKE DC Motors up to 2000 kW (50000 Nm torque) in frame sizes up to 710. The DC motor designs utilize the latest technology developed and optimized with FEM/Flux plotting techniques to give maximum torque for each kg of material used.

In-house critical facilities like shaft grinding on CNC, Commutators etc. are monitored and tested rigorously to ensure superior electrical and mechanical performance. The high quality standards maintained in manufacturing and testing make these motors most suitable for operating in tropical environments. All plants are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
