Poultry Fan Motors are corrosion-resistant induction motors engineered to drive the large exhaust and tunnel ventilation fans in commercial poultry farms, broiler houses, layer farms, and hatcheries. Poultry environments expose motors to ammonia gases, high humidity, dust, feathers, and frequent washing — demanding specialised construction beyond standard industrial motors.

Construction features include high-grade aluminium die-cast or epoxy-coated cast iron frames, stainless-steel shafts, hot-dip galvanised hardware, sealed bearings with extended-life lithium grease, and IP55 minimum protection (IP66 available).

Available in 0.55 kW through 5.5 kW ratings at 415V/3-phase/50Hz and 230V/1-phase variants for smaller exhaust fans. Class F insulation with double-vacuum varnish impregnation withstands the corrosive ammonia atmospheres typical of poultry sheds. Special-coated windings extend life by 2-3× compared to standard industrial motors in similar environments.
