RHINO Series Cast Iron Body Motors are Crompton’s flagship general-purpose three-phase induction motors built for tough Indian industrial environments. The cast-iron frame construction delivers exceptional mechanical strength, heat dissipation, and vibration damping — making these motors the preferred choice for continuous-duty applications in process industries, machine shops, and infrastructure projects.

Bombay Engineering Syndicate supplies the RHINO range across power ratings from 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) through 200 kW (270 HP) in IEC frame sizes 71 to 315M. Construction features high-grade cast-iron frames, endshields, and terminal boxes; high-quality stator stampings; double-shielded bearings rated for 40,000-hour L10 life; and Class F insulation with Class B temperature rise design (giving extra thermal margin).

Available in 2-pole through 8-pole configurations, IP55 protection (higher IP on request), and standard B3 foot or B5/B14 flange mounting. Voltage configurations include 415V±10%/50Hz as standard, with multi-voltage star-delta options. Efficiency levels meet IE2 and IE3 standards in line with Indian BEE labelling requirements.
