NEMA 56 Frame Motors are the most widely deployed small industrial motors in North American specifications — used across pumps, fans, compressors, machinery, and consumer/commercial equipment. The NEMA 56 frame (5.5" centerline height) accommodates power ratings from 1/3 HP through 3 HP in both single-phase and three-phase configurations.

Available in C-face, C-flange, rigid-base, and resilient-base mounting variants with both standard and high-efficiency designs.

Standard voltage configurations cover 115/230V single-phase (capacitor-start, capacitor-run, PSC) and 208-230/460V three-phase. Frame construction includes rolled-steel housings with cast aluminium end-shields, sealed ball bearings, Class F insulation, and IP44 protection (higher IP available on request). Conduit box positioning standard at F1, F2, F3 per NEMA specifications.
